About Us:
LIVE AND RECOVER aims to provide a structured and healing environment for residents to transition into and continue their growth through various supportive interventions, such as peer to peer support, 12-Step integration, connectivity to outside medical and/or mental health resources, and spirituality coaching. We will intuitively increase their knowledge of the disease of addiction and the recovery process, necessary in building recovery capital.
LIVE AND RECOVER will view the "whole" person, absence of judgement, in order to connect residents to community resources that best fits their needs. We will motivate our residents toward goals specific to improving life skills. Including, creating resumes, profiles on Job Search engines, accessing local Temp Agencies, opening bank accounts with an emphasis on overall financial wellness toward independent living, obtaining proper Identification Cards and/or valid Drivers Licenses, and assisting residents in exploring educational or vocational resources. We will also support family wellness.
LIVE AND RECOVER fully understands that, oftentimes, men and women complete treatment only to return to the unhealthy living environments where their addiction developed and grew. A single relapse puts them at a much higher risk for death, exacerbated by the fact that they no longer have the tolerance for substances they had before going into treatment. These deaths can be prevented. The truth is, recovery is possible.
Industry standards for Sober Living Homes have historically lacked structure, guidance, and education. With no oversight nor assistance, effectiveness is greatly diminished. Our live-in House Managers are there to empathetically support our residents, while identifying and addressing any needs and/or concerns. LIVE AND RECOVER's ultimate goal is to challenge industry standards and set the bar higher.
The targeted demographic for residents are people who are actively seeking recovery from alcohol and drugs abuse.
